I'm a TV star! Well, sort of...

Make sure to watch One Life to Live on Monday and Tuesday, (November 5th & 6th), because I'll be on it!  No, I won't be speaking or doing anything important- I'll be hiding in the background.  Last month I spent a day on the set of the soap opera as an extra or "background actor," (that's the nice way of saying it).  But if you pay attention and watch carefully then you should have no trouble finding me.  We filmed a fun 'behind the sceens' segment for Backstage Live while we were there too.   It should be up soon...

I put together this slide show that details all the exciting things I did as an extra and can also serve as a guide to finding me as you watch the show.

One Life to Live airs on ABC in the mornings or afternoons- check your local listings!

  • My Entrance: Watch for me making my entrance into the coffee shop behind the character, Roxy, (she's wearing the beret).
  • Boaz = Coffee Shop Patron: For most of the time, I'm milling around the coffee shop, picking at a pastry, and chatting with other "customers."
  • Where's Boaz #1: There's my little head in the background- this is what it will probably look like on TV.
  • Where's Boaz #2: Can you find Boaz in this photo?
  • My Cross: When Dorian is on the phone, I pass right in front of her. It happens quickly though, so you'll have to watch carefully.

Ok, so my tivo has been notified of the Boaz appearances and directed to record said shows...BTW, I usually never was these shows but will make an exception for the cause!
Last night, we were watching Pushing Daisies, a rather unusual new show with some humor and thought we saw Boaz walk past a window. Was that you, Boaz? Should we start looking for you everywhere? Big Grin
You're living one of my dreams Boaz.  I've tried to get in on some of the rare productions that takes place here in St Louis but they have always expected you to have at least 16 hours out of a day to spare.  I never have that kind of time.  Plus there's probably not a big need for "guy rooting through dumpster" or "guy laying in gutter" i could do those.
Wow!  It's like "Where's Waldo?"!  Actually, I didn't even need your captions to find you....

How exciting for you!  I'm sure your on the verge of being signed as a soap star.  Well, actually...you are WAY too upbeat for a soap star.  I'm pretty sure that soap opera actors don't skip through the office. Smiler
