Re: Reggie Watts: Disinformation (An Excerpt)

Paul Gude ·
At around 5:23, Reggie was reacting to a loud banging that was happening at the bar while someone was making a drink. I was amazed at how soft the banging ended up being on the tape. At the live show, everyone heard it.

Neurology related: Why is it that some people are prone to getting songs stuck in their head, while others are seemingly immune? Ok maybe thats not exactly neurological, but thats my question

I always get songs I really don't like stuck in my head. I'm looking forward to the Harry Shearer. I like the voices he does for the Simpsons (I've been a fan since the Tracy Ullman days for the record) but I think I like him even more for the characters he has played in all those Christopher Guest movies (This is Spinal Tap, A Mighty Wind etc.). i don't know what circumstances you will be interviewing him in but questions along those lines would be cool.

My wife is absolutely nuts about David Boreanaz!! She gets his calendar every year and hangs it in the bedroom, (don't know what she is trying to hint at). She has every episode of Angel and is working on Bones now so this is pretty neat, More please!!

Cool...I think you were in the right place at the right time...Clooney and Pitt...Clooney seems really relaxed in an interview setting, many stars are not able to carry on a conversation without a script. Thank, Boaz, for this one. Well done!

You're living one of my dreams Boaz. I've tried to get in on some of the rare productions that takes place here in St Louis but they have always expected you to have at least 16 hours out of a day to spare. I never have that kind of time. Plus there's probably not a big need for guy rooting through dumpster or guy laying in gutter i could do those.

Oh, surely! I see PLENTY of TV with guys laying in the gutter and rooting through the dumpsters. You must be asking in the wrong places, Doug.

Ok, so my tivo has been notified of the Boaz appearances and directed to record said shows...BTW, I usually never was these shows but will make an exception for the cause! Last night, we were watching Pushing Daisies , a rather unusual new show with some humor and thought we saw Boaz walk past a window. Was that you, Boaz? Should we start looking for you everywhere?

We decided that the theater was too dark for our iPhones (with no flash). I agree with Ted and Boaz: it was a fabulous show! Neat little tidbits... *He sang the "Hoover sucker fixer guy" song (if you've seen the movie, you'll know) *They sang "Mystic" by Van Morrison, at the request of someone in the audience, and it was great *They sang a Pixies song as a duet, and sounded almost better than the original...forgot the title of the song, but they cut in with a bit of "Subcultcha" which was...

Let me restate. I initially tried to find the interview for SuBe because I remembered watching it. I couldn't find it, having forgot that it was on a different site. Then Ted posted the link, at which point I thanked him. That was wasn't made very clear in the original exchange. I thought you all could read my mind.

Re: One Strike- You're Out!

Strikes are a tough time for all involved. I've been on strike. It got me what I enjoy today, which is being able to work for 30 years and have a nice retirement. If we had never walked the picket line for 82 days in 1970, I would still be working until I would be 67 years old. "You can never regain what you lose in a strike!", I've heard, but you also can get stuff you never thought would be possible too!
