Re: Golden Compass Premiere
Cool! *I'm* perfectly happy with your interview choices! Must be very weird to act against a green screen.

Little known fact- I've never actually been to the Groupee offices. I only appear to be working at my cubicle through the magic of green screen!

Re: Golden Compass: Bad News, Bad News, Good News
Well, bummer. We've talked enough about shows and movies that I know our tastes are similar. I was interested in this movie (and I haven't read the books, so you've answered THAT question....). Now I don't even have INTERVIEWS to look forward to. Hang on while I try to put a positive spin on this somehow.....

Re: Golden Compass: Bad News, Bad News, Good News
Sorry to hear thet Boaz. You did get a Baldwin-stole-me-seat story out of the trip though. Maybe a Paranormal Office episode with some Baldwin type character going around making your life miserable. You know using all of the paper in the copier and not replacing it. Eating the last doughnut just before you get to it. Occuping the bathroom just before you. Using your desk. the thing is he is very affable to everybody else and can't even imagine him giving you a hard time. or nobody else...

Re: Golden Compass: Bad News, Bad News, Good News
There is a lot in the news today about some kind of ban because of the national catholic group.. I am sorry to say. What for? I have not the foggiest! My innocence has been destroyed Please people do not act like Islamic extremists and think with your fists. I look forward to watching this film then reading the book then watching the film again. I will be uninformed then informed and can then make my own decisions. Thanks Boaz!

Sam Elliott is great, though extremely typecast... I guess if you do something well, might as well stick with it. I am really looking forward to that interview.

Re: The Golden Compass: Premiere Report
Sam Elliot was the only reason to watch Roadhouse . Well, Kelly Lynch was ok if you weren't concerned with actual acting. Do I sound catty?

Re: The Golden Compass: Premiere Report
Sam Elliot was a little scary in person, and I had to really speak up to get him to talk to us. Hopefully, we got some good stuff!

Golden Compass: Bad News, Bad News, Good News
I'll start with a synopsis from imdb for those not familliar with the book/movie: Lyra Belaqua, living in Oxford's Jordan College, is not but a young girl living among scholars. Her world may seem diverse, from physical embodiments of souls that take...

The Golden Compass: Premiere Report
This was probably one of the most pleasant premieres I have ever covered. We're usually stuck at the end of a line of twenty-some media outlets, where we're easily snubbed by publicists and ignored by their clients. At the Golden Compass...

I got a chance to catch up with some of the cast of The Golden Compass at the New York premiere, including Eva Green, Sam Elliott, and the young star of the film, Dakota Blue Richards. It was a cold rainy night, but when you pack a tent with...
