Re: Cherry Adair on "White Heat"
Cherry was great to interview. There were lots of stories that day that never made it to tape.

Re: Tao Lin Interview
Hmmmm..... I think the bear costume is a good look on you, Paul. But I'm not sure that Tao Lin knew what to do with you. Did you prep him??

Re: Tao Lin Interview
The blanket covering scene took a bit longer in real time than what you see in the video. I feared just a little for him (tao lin, not paul,) for a few moments.

Re: Tao Lin Interview
I can imagine. He looks...like he might be a bit unsure about the whole thing... (and that's an understatement).

Re: Tao Lin Interview
No, but some people next to Chris's car thought I was trying to break into it. I had gone out there to get the blanket while wearing the bear costume.

Re: Tao Lin Interview
Oh, and Lori, Tao had just come from the airport. My prepping consisted of me walking up to him in the bear costume and saying, "Oh! I want to put a blanket on your head! Will that be cool?" He was extremely accommodating.

Oh, and the "Sad Bear Vs. Happy Cobra" song in the interview is "Complete Annihilation."

Re: Racquetballs, Brains, and Mr. Burns...
Neurology related: Why is it that some people are prone to getting songs stuck in their head, while others are seemingly immune? Ok maybe thats not exactly neurological, but thats my question

Re: Racquetballs, Brains, and Mr. Burns...
chris: you know someone who's immune? will you introduce me?? I get songs stuck in my head all the time....

Re: Racquetballs, Brains, and Mr. Burns...
I always get songs I really don't like stuck in my head. I'm looking forward to the Harry Shearer. I like the voices he does for the Simpsons (I've been a fan since the Tracy Ullman days for the record) but I think I like him even more for the characters he has played in all those Christopher Guest movies (This is Spinal Tap, A Mighty Wind etc.). i don't know what circumstances you will be interviewing him in but questions along those lines would be cool.

Ya think workmans comp would cover pain & suffering caused by Boaz getting the Fraggle Rock Theme stuck in my head?

Re: Racquetballs, Brains, and Mr. Burns...
I have a cure for it: go to Kate's site and listen to the Water Buffalo Song.

Well, it'd be easier for that to get stuck if I knew the language. thanks for sharing, Boaz! As you know, I LOVE the Muppets!

My wife is absolutely nuts about David Boreanaz!! She gets his calendar every year and hangs it in the bedroom, (don't know what she is trying to hint at). She has every episode of Angel and is working on Bones now so this is pretty neat, More please!!

Alyson wants games for the iPhone. I am thinking this could be a new direction for Groupee, Inc., seeing as how heavily they endorse the iPhone. Graemory, anyone?!

As a slavish devotee of HIMYM (no, not from Yugoslavia) this was fun for me to watch! I was intrigued to see that they were actually playing with the Wii. Incidentally, I might be willing to rent out our kids if the show decides to have them adopt...

Re: George Clooney
Cool...I think you were in the right place at the right time...Clooney and Pitt...Clooney seems really relaxed in an interview setting, many stars are not able to carry on a conversation without a script. Thank, Boaz, for this one. Well done!

Re: George Clooney

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Behind the Scenes
This turned out awesome. It was a really fun shoot. It was cool to be on the set of one of my favorite shows Sadly I didn't get to meet the writer/producer who shares my name. Though I did sit in his director's chair

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Behind the Scenes
This morning I was listening to the radio, and they quoted a Chris Harris who was in prison with a life sentence.

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Behind the Scenes
Well, we Chris Harris' have both our good times & our bad. Can't have too much of either otherwise it becomes monotonous

I give this interview an A-. It needed some Simpsons voices. On a serious note, well done -- he seems like a really interesting guy. "Smithers!"

Re: Harry Shearer
Very well done, Boaz. He is such a multi-tasker, you did a very good job of keeping the ball rolling and covered a great deal of material in such a short period of time. He seemed like a regular guy, easy to talk to. I did not know he was involved in all of these things. Really enjoyed it.
