Re: Swell Season- No Interview, But Great Show Anyway
Well, Ted left out some details. There was this cute girl a few rows ahead of us, and after a pep talk from Rosemary I decided to ask her to marry me. But just as I was asking, I realized it was actually a guy with long hair, (and very nice skin). It was pretty awkward after that...

That is by far their most popular song. The movie is absolutely fantastic and if you havent seen it take the first chance you get to see it. Glad that the show was really good.

To continue Boaz's engagement story... long-haired, nice-skin guy said yes, amazingly enough. Glen and Marketa were nice enough to let them slow dance on the stage while they performed Falling Slowly. A beautiful moment.

...it might have been a good time to pull out the kazoo...for lack of words! It might have lessened the tension... It's is still awesome the number of stars you are meeting just because you are there!

You should have started singing one of their songs at the top of your lungs... that would have impressed them.

Swell Season- No Interview, But Great Show Anyway
You may not have heard of The Swell Season, but if you saw the movie Once, then you've heard their music. Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova were the stars of the amazing little movie with such powerful songs. They are now touring the US...

Swell Season Sighting!
I just saw Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova of The Swell Season, (and the movie Once), at the Union Square holiday market. I went up to them and had this slightly awkward conversation: Me: Hey, you're the Swell Season. Them: Yeah. Me: I just saw...
