Swell Season Sighting!

I just saw Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova of The Swell Season, (and the movie Once), at the Union Square holiday market. I went up to them and had this slightly awkward conversation:

Me: Hey, you're the Swell Season.

Them: Yeah.

Me: I just saw you play in Seattle. It was a great show.

Them: Thanks.

Me: I really enjoyed it.

(pause)

Me: Well, have a good night.

Them: Yeah, have a good one.

If they had been slightly more talkative I would have asked for an interview, but maybe they just wanted to be alone...
