What is the origin of his hit song Mistadobalina?

The answer covers the Church of the SubGenius, the Monkees, and a game called Zilch.

Thank you sooooo much for asking Del the origin of Mistadobalina! Man, that has ALWAY been a question in my mind whenever I hear that song, and it always pops up in my iPod. It was very interesting...thanks!!!
