I got a chance to catch up with Mirah while she was performing in Seattle as part of the Share This Place tour. Mirah teamed up with Spectratone to write a song cycle based on the lives of insects and the writings of scientist/poet Jean Henri FabrÉ. Although we had to deal with lights turning off, rehearsing musicians in the background, and location shifts, I really enjoyed chatting with Mirah about topics as diverse as catching flies and the classic game show, Double Dare.
