The Half Brothers: Corn Train

We caught up with the Half Brothers in Seattle, and got a chance to record them performing their song "Corn Train" in their rehearsal space.

THE HALF BROTHERS, purveyors of their own patented brand of bluegrass and acoustic roots music, have been entertaining Seattle audiences with dynamic picking, hilarious and sometimes poignant lyrics and lush mountain harmonies for the last year. Sharing backgrounds in music and theatre (mandolinist John Ackermann and banjo player David Nixon are founding members of music/ performance-art collective “Awesome” and guitarist Rick Miller is a stalwart of the Seattle theatre scene,) the Half Brothers’ goofy on-stage charm belies some serious musical and songwriting chops. - seattleperforms.com
