Re: Juno, Revolver, & More
Well, I can understand how you might end up confused if you SLEPT for the first 20 minutes! I'm excited to hear that Juno is good--that one has been on my list since I first saw the preview. Even though we miss you in the office, at least we're getting SOMEthing out your absence. Keep 'em comin!

Re: Juno, Revolver, & More
I think the real problem is that I had a cookie right before Revolution , and I suffered from a severe sugar crash. I'll be more cautious in the future...

Re: Juno, Revolver, & More
I'm really looking forward to Juno, so it is great to hear your rave review. What about Jason Bateman... is he doing the junket and/or is he off your access list?

Re: Juno, Revolver, & More
Jason's not doing the NY junket- I think he's saving himself for the LA junket.

I'm so glad to hear its as good as it looks! I've been anxious for its release since I read this article on the screenwriter Diablo Cody in a recent issue of Esquire Magazine.

Diablo was awesome! I had a great chat with her and Jason, (the director).

Re: Family Guy: Behind the Scenes
Nice ending. Hey, Boaz! Don't you think you have the PERFECT VOICE for Family Guy?? Can't they give you a guest spot?

Re: Family Guy: Behind the Scenes
Boaz is far too humble to admit this, but Mila's screaming at the beginning was actually a fan-girl reaction to him being on set! He sadly cut the part where she gushes "Oh my God, Boaz is here!!"

Good interview...the ending was a great bonus from left field! What a twist... Didn't know you could play ping pong...do you have a record in THAT too?

Re: Family Guy: Behind the Scenes
In actuality, both of us were pretty bad at ping pong. I just cut out some of our worst flubs... And yes, I do think they should give me a guest spot on Family Guy! When I interviewed the producers of American Dad before their first season, they promised me a speaking roll if they made it to a second season. And now they're in their third season...

Re: Family Guy: Behind the Scenes
Wow! Loved the segment! Especially the sound. Did you use a boom mic for that? If so, the person operating it did a really great job. Nice work overall!

Re: Family Guy: Behind the Scenes
We actually had a great boom operator that day. Well, pretty great. Except he smelled like bacon and was a convicted fellon...

Re: Revolver Junket Report
Great report, Boaz. Frankly, in every interview I have watched of yours, you have always seemed to have done your homework thoroughly and genuinely be interested in the person you're talking to and the material at hand, so I am not surprised at all by what Guy said. Enjoy the remainder of your NY trip.

I guess I've got it pretty good, though I'll post something about all the people who snubbed our interviews later. That's the sad part of the job. And thanks for the nice words! I just really like talking to people...

Family Guy: Behind the Scenes

Revolver Junket Report
Just finished the junket for Revolver. After reading more about this movie, and talking to the people who made it, I really want to see this one again. But first, the juknet report: So I got there at 10:30AM, ready to talk to Vincent...

Juno, Revolver, & More
Saw Juno and Revolver last night. They were back to back screenings, which can be exhausting, (though at Sundance I often do back-to-back-to-back screenings), and I think my experience at the second screening may have suffered becuase of it......
